I ordered the tables for the show at the convention center. now I NEED to order new necklace stands. I cannot find mine ANYWHERE. They are the only things missing…why? I need them! I can’t kludge something else together to make necklace stands. Ugh. I hate spending money twice. I had a lot of CD’s robbed from my apartment in the mid-late 90′s, and a lot of them I still have not replaced because I hate paying twice!
It is a need, though, for this show, so tonight I will do it. I will.
I didn’t make beads yesterday, even though it was my Wednesday, which usually means a little studio time. But we went to IKEA instead, and got a new blackout curtain for Derek’s room, and a little container thing that hangs on the wall and holds… a laptop! I was standing in front of an old armoire to type. The computer has to be out of Derek’s reach, and with this new thing, it will be out of sight as well, when not in use.
I love my family, I love my husband and I love my kid…but I will admit it…when I see, in IKEA, those demo apartments, how to live in 500sq feet or whatever… I envy someone that small, simple space all to themselves.
Speaking of family, Derek has just woke up. Off I go.
