Oh, I am busy. Busy busy.
I am doing torch demos at the show at the Oregon Convention Center next weekend. Hooray! I love torching for an audience, and teaching them about working with glass. It is such a passion of mine and I love talking about it! I will be on the torch on Friday at 12:30 and Saturday at 3:30.
But so much to do! My inventory is spread all around the guest room, and still needs to be priced. Beyond the hurricane of my work, the entire guest room needs to be cleaned, as my father in law is coming to visit next weekend. This will be good for my husband and little Derek, while Momma is gone, but it does mean more cleaning up this week before he arrives. Not enough time for all this! I should be cleaning right now!
I got some new glass in, my first borosilicate glass. I have a little project to try. If I am sadistic and amongst all the cleaning and packing and pricing I STILL go down to the torch, I might have my new little items at the show, with a very nice intro sale price! We shall see….and it’s something PRACTICAL! I mean, I think beautiful glass beads are practical, but I know not everyone does.
I promise to have another giveaway about 1.5 weeks from now, to celebrate the fabulous show being over! I love this show and do it every year…but it definitely is work!
