A lovely pendant. I wish I could make more. Right now, I can’t. The kiln is really sunk. And this sucks. I had been babying it along, and then I went and played with boro, and now I can’t get it to go back to soft glass and run a program correctly. I have made the same bead 8 times, and it’s really a shame, as I need to send it to a magazine. So I ordered a new thermocouple. I really hope that does the job. It won’t be here for a week, so instead of making that bead (and then hooking up my new Lynx torch for the first time) I will be listing more items than usual, to keep myself busy. I miss the glass! Well, I don’t miss it, I was making it…it just wasn’t making it itself to the end to be worn.
This one, I really like. I was going to smooth in all that clear encasement glass, but then saw it like it is and something told me to stop.right.there. So I did.
I love the colors in this piece!
